A Provencal Maison Framed by Perfumed Gardens

Nestled in the Cannes hinterland, you will find the magical Maison Mastrorelli. Steeped in its history as an 18th-century coaching inn, the vacation home in Provence was lovingly restored by a French singer who has simultaneously returned to her roots: born and raised in Cannes, she remembers a youth of waking up to views of the Isles of Lerins in the distance.

Her musicality comes to life at Maison Mastrorelli. With an east-facing facade – all elegance in lime-washed stone walls, green shutters and a lace of climbing flowers – it glows softly in the painterly Provencal light.

Comprising 240 m2, Maison Mastrorelli spreads across three levels and accommodates up to eight adults and two children. On the ground floor is a living room with soaring ceilings and a cozy linen sofa. You might find yourself playing some acoustic piano on the Kawai (Yann Tierson’s Amelie Foal perhaps) by the fire, or relaxing with a glass of the owner’s homemade orange wine. Layer the sounds with the room's Marschall Stanmore bluetooth speaker, Marshall acoustic guitar amplifier, or pick a vinyl from the record collection and kick back and relax.

This floor also has a dining room with an old farm table and chairs from La Maison Pernoise, a fully-equipped kitchen with pine green cabinets and a handsome SMEG stove, plus one bedroom and a private bathroom.

On the first floor there is one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a small TV lounge with sofa beds, a desk and minibar. The second floor is composed of two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with walk-in showers, toilets and sinks.

Outside, the landscaped grounds include a pool, while the rainwater-irrigated gardens flourish with lavender, roses, citrus and olive trees. A boules court rests under a lime tree, and an outdoor lounge and kitchen invite you to connect and indulge with your traveling companions. This is wonderful place for artists, epicureans and all lovers of pleasure.

Around

Located between Grasse and Saint-Paul-de-Vence on the French Riviera, Roquefort-Les-Pins is a village with agrarian roots and a pleasant microclimate. Across the street, there are two restaurants and a few shops, while two natural parks are located nearby.

The location also benefits from being close to all of the attractions of the French Riviera, with its beautiful seaside and tourist resorts. Cannes is 20 minutes away, while Nice is 30 and Monte Carlo is 45 minutes away. If you come in the winter, you are just shy of an hour away from the nearest ski areas.
