Located just minutes from the North Sea beaches on the Wadden Island of Terschelling, you'll get the best of two worlds here.
Designed as a family-friendly recreation destination, each of the dwellings is smartly designed and well equipped for individual privacy along with the benefits of a campsite. The simple box-like structure is clad in bold black wash with decking that surrounds it and a well-thought-out and practical layout. The interiors contrast with the exteriors with a remarkable sense of light and space and a back-to-basics modern style.
There are two double bedrooms and an additional double bed that can be folded up or pulled out to create a table-top space. In the hall, there is also a special sleeping nook under a glass dome in the roof for viewing the night skies.
The well-equipped kitchen opens out to the wooden terraces and porch with an additional sheltered outer living space between the living and sleeping areas facing the south.
The park-like grounds are ideal for communal living and recreation with sunny spots for open air dining and outdoor play.

AROUND
One of the largest of the West Frisian islands in the North Sea, Terschelling is situated between the islands of Vlieland and Ameland with lovely coastlines and beaches. Famous for its cycling and hiking paths, the island's landscape includes marshlands, forests and even desert on the southern side and great beaches for water sport on the north side. The capital town of West Terschelling and the nearby town of Midsland just over a mile from the house, are bustling with summer holiday revelers where the cafes, pubs and and shops come to life.

Terschelling, Netherlands. Nearest Airport: Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. From Amsterdam you have to drive to Harlingen (125 kilometers). From Harlingen it’s about a 2-hour ferry ride to Terschelling.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: May through September for the mildest weather although the winter months are moody and atmospheric where you'll have the beaches all to yourself.
