Surrounded by over 32 acres of stunning natural beauty in the heart of Le Marche, this vacation home rental in Italy immerses you in the authentic history of the region in a thousand year old former water mill and adjacent buildings.
This independent two-story space within the estate was originally the house of the miller and the farmer but fell into ruin. The owners (with the help of their contractor and his team) recently rebuilt it stone by stone, using as many original materials as possible.
Instead of a ruin, today guests can now look forward to a wonderful, rustic house with authentic details and playful arches. The space is a harmonious interplay of robustness and spaciousness, which is loosened up by contemporary elements.
The side entrance on the ground floor leads directly to a hall with a breathtaking high ceiling, stucco decoration and wooden beams, which is complemented by extraordinary works of art and a large designer lamp. The hall borders the modern kitchen and the living room with its large dining table for up to six people, wonderful lounge sofa, books and games. From the hall, a wide staircase leads up to two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.
There is a private terrace with dining table, plus a shared grill, brazier, and swimming pool with sun terrace. The grounds are ideal for wandering and exploring the beautiful countryside with a private stream, lagoons and waterfalls as well as acres of forests. Simple and rustic, this property offers a peaceful and authentic rural escape.
This unit can be rented on its own or together with the watermill. For the main property, see La Fenella and its units: Costa Conero and La Grotte di Frasassi.
