The best of both modern design and raw nature, we like the simple architectural composition in gentle contrast with the landscape. Nestled into a very private riverfront forest, this is a rare treat.

We booked as a couple for a late summer (very late) escape from London. We wanted peace, quiet, nature, clean air and some slow time.
We met the owners hours after our scheduled arrival time (delayed flights). They were beyond hospitable, gracious and genuine.
The home is truly relaxing, well appointed and with much better than average furnishings, linen and amenities.
The views alone are breath taking and the region (the little we saw) is stunning. Though it was not high summer, we enjoyed the hot tub, coffee in the crisp mornings and actually caught some rays in the afternoons. C’est magnifique! Merci.

We could not recommend this beautiful house more. We had a week-long stay at the end of march that far exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for exploring both the Tarn and the Jonte canyons as well as the plateaus. It is close enough to Millau to take advantage of the amazing market as well. The walking, biking, boating, swimming and climbing are second to none! In addition, Natacha is a superlative hostess. Great communicator and very organized in the house with no detail forgotten. We will be back soon!

we highly recommend this house, very nice architecture on a beautiful location!!
kids did like the private land at the river and spotting birds and beavers across the river and spent a lot of time in the jacuzzi, which is located with a beautiful mountain view.

Amazing dream home! Excellent location!
The Gite Emeraude is a beautiful home located near the Tarn river, with private access to the river and a splendid view of the cliffs and the eagles. The house is a masterpiece of modern architecture, and we found it well equipped for our group of 8 people, ages 7-85. The owners were very friendly and thought of every little detail. We especially enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and quiet location, only minutes drive away from the majestic scenes of the Gorges du Tarn. We hope to have the opportunity to visit again!

– great location of the house next to the Tarn river (beautiful garden, lots of privacy)
– fantastic region (Gorges du Tarn / Jonte, Cévennes, Causses)

Perfect holidays !
During arrival, it rained quite a lot, however, we felt very welcome thanks to the charming owners. They were always available for any question. The villa is marvelous and easy to keep clean. The additional fridge in the storage and the nice kitchen were very usefull with a family that likes to cook. The direct location at the Tarn invited us to go swimming with our Labrador several times a day. We appreciated to stay in such a lovely villa, making it impossible to visit all the beatifull things in the region. Never mind, we come back to do other tours with the bike or kayak! Thanks a lot to Natacha and Sébastien!
