We love this fascinating collaborative concept that explores the connection between design, innovation and lifestyle. Nurturing and fueling the creative process by partnering with a rotating roster of interior designers, influencers and both established and emerging brands, this project is a unique canvas for artistic expression.
Conceived and curated by the editor-in-chief of online cultural magazine Trendland, it’s a dynamic space is where design, art, gastronomy and cultural expression come to life. Housed in a 2,000 square foot loft apartment in New York City’s Flatiron district, Witness Apartment is a living canvas dedicated to the collaborative arts of interior design and artistic innovation. Presenting different installations in partnership with industrial designers and furniture brands every three months, owner and curator Ani Tzenkova’s vision was to create a boutique where you can discover and purchase unique items in an intimate and livable space.
The space has most recently been redesigned in collaboration with stylist Hilary Robertson, with brand partners including Coquo, Hem, Urban Outfitters Home, Farrow + Ball, and Gubi.
Starting in July 2019, Open Studio, an exhibition showcasing emerging talent in the context of the apartment, features objects from design-school grad Studio Junto, plus latest designs from New York-based Jack Rabbit Studio, Pat Kim Design and Richard Clarkson Studio.
Stay for the night and see what’s next!
