Located just a few minutes drive or hike from Fountain Park, you are also at the trailhead for McDowell Mountain Preserve where you can enjoy great hiking. Saguaro Lake is just twenty minutes drive and Four Peaks, Superstition Mountains, White Mountains, and Mount Ord are across the Verde River Valley for an escape from the heat. Both central Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix are under an hour away.
