With two separated bedrooms, each with independent entrances and bathrooms, this vacation rental in Cefalu consists of 810 square feet and can accommodate up to five guests.

Upon request (for an additional fee), the cottage can arrange a variety of body treatments and massages, and a full-time attendant to light lanterns, cook lunch and dinner, and prepare cocktails. Other add-ons are a guided fishing tour, pre-ordered specific grocery items, a cake or special treat to celebrate an occasion.

Please note that this property is located in the heart of the Madonie Park, where there is wild life such as deer, wild boar, skunks, and marmots. The property is equipped with an electrical fence that is not dangerous to people, in order to keep animals away (there are signs are posted on the fence). 

AROUND

The popular resort town of Cefalù sits along Sicily’s northern coast a little more than an hour east of Palermo (Terre Di Bea if 4 miles from its center). A UNESCO designated town and historic fishing harbor, the pretty medieval streets are dominated by a 12th century Norman cathedral and an ancient hilltop fortress. Charming and authentic, it’s known for its excellent restaurants that serve local seafood and wines and its many interesting shops. The beautiful town of Santo Stefano di Camastra, famous for its ceramics and tiles, is within a short drive, as is Polizzi Generosa, where the owner recommends taking the two-hour class and tour of the ancient furnace at D’Angelo ceramic studio, followed by lunch at Donna Lavia agriturismo, featuring Sicilian specialties and authentic recipes from the Madonie Mountains.

Speaking of the mountains, the rugged Madonie peaks are just over an hour drive inland with great hiking and forest trails and several medieval villages to explore. And then there are the famous beaches. One is St. Ambrose, reachable via a characteristic path that starts from the village. Walk along it to discover to one of the most beautiful stretches of the coastline. For day trips, you can venture even further to the seven Aeolian islands, the volcanic chain just off shore. Sicily holds many natural and cultural charms, from Noto to Catania, the sister cities of Ragusa, Modica Scicli and beyond, the island is meant to be explored and savored.

The Eco-lodge is equipped with an ecosystem to preserve water, we collect rainwater that we filter and use for irrigation. Use water consciously.
NO FIRES AT ALL TIMES AND ALL NATURE ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE PROPERTY SINCE THE CEFALU’ AREA IS AT HIGH RISK FOR FIRES.
NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE LODGE, IF YOU SMOKE OUTSIDE PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DISPOSE OF ASHES AND CIGARETTES IN THE PROPER ASHTRAY.
SINCE WE ARE LOCATED IN THE HEART OF THE MADONIE PARK THERE IS WILDLIFE SUCH AS DEER, WILD BOAR, SKUNKS, MARMOTS, HARES, WEASELS. THE ENTIRE PROPERTY IS EQUIPPED WITH AN ELECTRICAL FENCE, NOT DANGEROUS TO PERSONS, TO KEEP UNDESIRED ANIMALS AWAY (SIGNS ARE POSTED ON THE FENCE – DO NOT TOUCH IT).
DISPOSE OF GARBAGE: The city of Cefalu is just starting a new recycling program, and on the property you will find the weekly recycling schedule and one of our staff members will show you how it works.
The property shall not be used at any time by more than the amount of adults and children as per the reservation. All guests under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless prior written authorization is received from Terre Di Bea. No tents or other structures may be erected on the property. Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy.
