This apartment is one of six of varying sizes located in a 17th-century mansion right in the center of Rome. It’s not only perfect for exploring the city, but it’s also a lovely place to come back to and unwind.
Its owners wanted to create a stylish apartment that felt like ‘home’ or staying with a friend, and they welcome guests to pick their brains about where to visit, shop and hang out. Guests are treated to freshly-baked bread and pastries each morning and a fridge stocked with juices.
The design of the apartment is simple – with creams, dark greys and browns bringing a subdued feel, and natural woods, bamboo, fur and bare bulbs lending the bedroom a ‘primeval’ vibe. A cheeky tapestry entitled ‘Let’s Love’ hangs above the bed.
The apartment is made up of a bedroom for two, a bathroom with sauna and shower, a corridor with closet, and an open-plan kitchen opening onto a small terrace. The building has six separate apartments of different size, but can be rented in its entirety.
To view the other apartments in the building, visit: Master Apartment, Grand Apartment, Livia Apartment, Balcony Apartment, and Corner Apartment.
This property is located in central Rome, which really needs no description. Suffice it to say, the Trevi fountain is a three-minute walk away. The Spanish Steps are five minutes. Via Condotti (Rome’s Rodeo Drive/Bond Street) is ten minutes away.
The owners want every guest to leave with a piece of where they’ve stayed, and make every effort to help them discover hidden nooks and crannies. Guests get to know the most intimate corners of the city, as well as, they say, ‘radical local traditions and unlikely places’. Sounds irresistible.
Rome, Italy. Nearest airport: Rome (35km, 45 minutes by car).
