elisabeth am see® is a peaceful waterfront hideaway on Lake Templin in the village of Caputh next to Potsdam and Berlin, Germany. elisabeth am see® is a 180sqm refuge with an integrated spa lounge for the exclusive use of the guests, a separate glassed pavilion on the bank and a terrace on Lake Templin, surrounded by a more than 1000sqm garden. The house was built in 1930 and modernized in 2009. The most up-to-date building technology makes it possible for elisabeth am see to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and holistic living: The permanent flow water supply, for example, reduces bacteria development and the filtered ventilation system produces a pollen-free environment. It also monitors the passing of the day and provides lighting, which matches your mood.
The living area is an oasis of calm with stunning views of Lake Templin. It contains a home theater, Bose HiFi, and furniture by Porro. An office with high-speed internet and fully equipped kitchen with Erik Magnussen furnishings are also available. Both bedrooms are also furnished by Porro and have ensuite bathrooms. The spa lounge is for exclusive use of the guests and contains 2 footbaths, a large freestanding tub, dousing shower, tropical shower, and salted steam bath.
Around the house is a spacious garden full of mature trees and perennial plants. A narrow dock leads out to Lake Templin, where guests can enjoy the sunsets over the water (or sunrises, for early birds.) 6-km long Lake Templin is one of many lakes in the area and offers plenty of recreational opportunities for boating, yachting, and swimming.
Also on the property is an octogan-shaped pavillion originally built in 1915 and remodeled in 2006. It is located directly on the water and has large French doors that open to the stunning view. The pavillion has sub-floor heating and bathroom, making it the perfect refuge within a refuge. We reccomend retreating to the gazebo to work on a project, host a seminar, or relax with a mug of tea on a rainy day. Make arrangements with the owners in order to ensure full use of the pavillion.
