Surrounded by the UNESCO heritage vineyards that produce the world’s most prestigious wines, the house is within a 15-minute drive from the medieval town of Beaune – considered the very heart of the region’s wine making roots.
The capital of oenophile tourism, the city’s historic cobble stone streets are encircled by medieval ramparts, bastions, and towers, with the magnificent 15th-century Hôtel-Dieu at its center, and centuries old cellars beneath the streets that house the rarest and best in the world.
One of the best ways to explore the area is on a bike with Meursault in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, and Puligny Montrachet and Chassagne all within a few miles, for tastings of some of the most famous appellations.
