The entirety of this brand new villa in Sayulita faces the Pacific Ocean and aptly places a high value on light and windows. It envelops you from every angle with blue sky blending smoothly into water, from its spacious living areas with modern furnishings mixed with pieces crafted from natural materials, and hints of Asian influence.

The views are spectacular everywhere, but we think that the master bedroom affords the best ones. We can hardly imagine a lovelier way to greet the day ahead, the possibilities of this bohemian surfer’s paradise laid out before you.

Description

Villa Surya is a brand new luxury villa in Sayulita with six bedrooms and breathtaking panoramic views of the Sayulita bay. The structure consists of a spacious, two-story main home, with two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, with four private suites tucked below and connected by a staircase. Altogether, the villa can sleep up to 12 people.

You will also have floor-to-ceiling windows in the main home, a large kitchen, living room, outdoor dining area, and an infinity pool with jungle and ocean views. There are balconies off of each bedroom, and a large terrace off of the main living area.

The lower part of the villa has the four individual suites, each one with a queen-size bed, private bath, and a terrace with a private dipping pool. A common kitchenette with a sitting area is perfect for enjoying meals.

Please note: The road up to this home has a few steep sections. Guests in good physical shape can walk down to the beach in 10 minutes and to the town center in 15-20 minutes. The walk up will take a little longer. A car or golf cart rental is an option for people who don’t want to walk up and down the hill. Taxis are inexpensive and readily available. The owners can also arrange a driver for you with a car or van to take you up and down whenever needed.

AROUND

Up until recently, Sayulita was a sleepy fishing village, but in the last few decades, it has developed a hipster surf scene – due to its great waves and sandy beaches. It’s a great place to learn to surf, and the town is also known for great restaurants and chilled vibe. There are opportunities for hiking through virgin jungle trails, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, sport fishing, and whale watching.

House Rules

Please treat the property as if it where your own.
We are a non-smoking house. This includes the balconies, patios and any outdoor area inside the Villa.
The house is in a neighborhood of other luxury homes. Like yourselves the owners and guests around you expect quiet time. So please, no loud noise after 10.00pm and before 8.00am.
Please take your shoes off at the door, we are trying to keep the house cleaner and healthier for you.
We feel that our home is safe for guests of all ages. However, young children must not be left unsupervised at anytime. All of our balconies have good safe railings, but a small child could still climb over and have a really bad fall. Also, the infinity-edge swimming pool has a very large drop-off, if someone were to climb out and fall over.

The owners and management take no responsibility for any accidents due to leaving small children unattended, or due to older children and adults acting inappropriately on our property. Guests assume all responsibility for taking care of their persons and property during their stay at Villa Surya.

Villa Surya had unbeatable views! Eric is extremely helpful in all things Sayulita from airport transfers, meals, even grocery delivery. We had a superb stay enjoying the infinity pool and homemade meals from Gloria, as well as hanging out on the beach in town.

Excellent location, the place is 10 minutes from the beach, but the view in the mornings and in the afternoon those are the best, you will not want to leave the house. We are very grateful for the attention of Eric and Gloria for giving us confidence and making us feel like we are at home.

The place is beautiful, with a great view. Eric was very helpful, flexible, and responsive throughout the stay and prior to coming. The owner Kent is also very nice and drove us into town on several occasions. The place was clean and well-kept. Great kitchen amenities with cooking oil, spices, blender, etc.. There are two steep roads going up to the place, one of which is very steep and should not be driven up, and could be difficult for people who are older or less fit to walk on (about a 10 min walk to the beach, then 15-20 min walk to town). We rented out the entire place with the suites, which was great because we had a common space for everyone, and people had their own rooms and showers as well. It could be different experience if there were other people staying in the suites below, which would be something to look into when you’re booking. Lovely!
