One of a handful of unique structures along the shores of Puerto Escondido, every element of this beach house rental in Oaxaca is meant to connect guests to nature. Designed by Bosco Sodi, the founder of the nearby CASA WABI Foundacion, the house is thoughtfully secluded within a patch of lush wildlife to create an immersive hideaway.
Facing the Sierra Mountains with the sound and scent of the Pacific wafting through, the compound is designed for large groups to enjoy the unique beauty of Oaxaca and neighboring Puerto Escondido.
Composed of all natural materials, the compound is made up of a massive, open-air main palapa and living space with a soaring thatched roof and dining area.
There is one large master bedroom, three large triple rooms, and one room with four twin beds with room for up to sixteen guests.
The fully equipped kitchen and bar will be tended to by your in-house cook with optional services available.
Immersed within the wild beauty of the Oaxaca coast, you can cool off privately in the pool or take a walk down the path to the shore to disconnect and recharge.
The property includes housekeeping and a two private cooks (cost of meals not included), kitchen and bath essentials. The property is completely unplugged (no Wifi or media/TV).
Located along a remote stretch of Pacific coast, the port town of Puerto Escondido lies at the end of the Sierra Madre del Sur mountain range just over one hundred miles from the inland capital of Oaxaca.
Arranged around a picturesque bay dotted with gigantic rock formations, the area is divided between Bacocho Beach on the north end, the Playa Principal resort area in the middle, and the famous surfing beach of Zicatela on the south end.
Considered one of the top ten surfing destinations in the world, it’s an action packed atmosphere where at night the town comes to life with parties until dawn.
Be sure to visit the wildlife and mangrove forests of Laguna de Manialtepec just twenty minutes from the house and the ecological reserve and turtle sanctuaries of Ventanilla. Watch for the bio-luminescent tides at night where you can swim among the sparkling waters.
