Maison Conchiglio Barrettali, Corsica, France
Situated along the wild and windswept northern cape of haute corse in a tiny village of not more than twenty people, this charming 19th century home was formerly a honey makers workshop and is characteristic of rural life and Corsican history. The 19th century gold stone structure hasn’t changed much and is hosted by a local family that also runs a small shop with delicious and interesting local products.
