What we like about this property

A riot of vibrant color, traditional Mexican style and very modern sensibilities, this boutique hotel also has a down-to-earth appeal that we love. The sleek architectural forms and captivating personal design details are a great match for the beauty of Todos Santos.

Located in the Pueblo Magico of Todos Santos, this boutique hotel was designed by a Los Angeles expat to highlight the beauty and traditions of Mexico with the modern architectural principles of today. Featured in countless design magazines, this award winning property is a vibrant homage to Mexican architects Barragan and Legoretto.

The expansive five acre property is nestled among native palm gardens in a secluded spot above the arroyo and the Huerta of Todos Santos overlooking the Church and town.

An intimate and chic retreat for travelers who avoid the mega resorts of Baja Sur, there are just four guest cottages to choose from, each named after and insired by the saturated colors they are designd with (Azul, Verde, Rosa, and Violeta). Each casita has either a private garden or a large terrace furnished with hammocks, loungers, and a shaded verandah and can sleep up to three guests. With a colorful array of furnishings and decor including a personally curated collection of signature designer pieces gathered over the past thirty years, each cottage blends modern architecture with the vibrant colors of Mexico. Each is a tiny private world to call home.

Breakfast is served every morning on the communal patio, and there is small kitchen for guests to use. A lovely outdoor dining terrace and pool area with loungers is perfect for relaxing or sunset cocktails. The native gardens are beautifully designed to complement both contemporary and traditional aesthetics.

If style, individuality and comfort matter, this is the place for you.

Fully staffed.Breakfast served daily. Wifi throughout, iPod audio system in each room. Daily housekeeping. Luxury linens and bedding, bathrobes and toiletries. Book library. Private parking. All beach amenities provided including umbrellas, ice coolers, boogie boards and towels. Yoga and pilates classes available.

Just outside of the vibrant and historic town of Todos Santos, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, the B&B is a short walk down the road to La Cachora beach. Voted one of the top ten beaches in Mexico, it’s the perfect place for whale watching, sunset walks, horseback riding, and swimming. The Pueblo Magico is a great town to explore on foot with fresh organic markets, cafes and restaurants, art galleries and more and is an hour’s drive between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas along the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula at the base of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the Hotelito. This is place is an OASIS in this arid landscape.

Minutes after our arrival, Jenny came to greet us with a tray of fresh margaritas! How civilize!

This boutique B&B is both minutes from the main town and the beach. The rooms are very comfortable and you feel like you are at someone’s home when you are there. The outdoor living space includes a hammock, which is both private, cozy and inviting.

Our day begins with breakfast that is lovingly prepared by Marcella and Sadie. Pastries, coffee, tea and fresh fruit juice are offered as well. Both Jenny and Claudia are always on hand to answer any questions and provide suggestions on what Todo’s Santo’s has to offer. Also, Wendy offers a friendly face when you return from a day of site seeing.

A visit from Chapo (the resident sheep) is a welcome surprise to start your day. Don’t forget to use the salt water pool, refreshing, private and pleasantly appointed with lawn and pool furnishings.

I highly recommend the Hotelito for your next visit in Todos Santos. Jenny will make you feel right at home.

We spent two blissful nights in El Hotelito. And wow, what a beautiful spot it is indeed. In all honesty, we loved everything about it; the salt water pool (amazing), the stylish room and bathroom (including the luxurious sheets), the breakfast options (traditional or granola/fruit plus pastries and coffee etc), and the incredible outdoor decor. Each room has its own nook, complete with its own courtyard and hammock, as well as access to a small communal kitchen and plenty of shared space. A very special place indeed, staffed by a small and friendly, welcoming team. it’s located in a great spot too, being set back away from the hubub, but close enough to the beach and the main plaza. Todos Santos strikes a nice balance. It’s relatively developed but still has a laid back charm that’s a world apart from the likes of Cabo San Lucas.

We were treated to a delightful stay at Hotelito during the Todos Santos Film Festival. We stayed in the Rosa room and could not have been more comfortable. The bed was luxurious, as well as the rest of the suite. We were welcome to being our lovely lab Coco, and she absolutely place, including the visit by El Chapo the goat! The breakfast was included and was tasty and served by very friendly staff. The staff at Hotelito are incredible and so friendly and helpful. Even though the owner was away, one would never know, as the staff treated this oasis as their own, making sure every guest was well cared for. One of the ladies even offered to go buy a special kitchen utensil I had been looking for! Sure enough later that day she appears with the whisk! The staff ate so delightful, a testament to their training and personal integrity! Watching the sunrise over the misty palm trees in the morning is s special treat, and each night one can watch the twinkling town lights as music wafts up the hill from town. By 930 pm all is quiet, and a restful sleep awaits! This is a great spot to stay, and would definitely return next time we are in Todos Santos.

This place is beyond stylish… If you need a break from your life and a lesson on how to be cool, then come to this place. Perfect location between the town of Todos Santos and the beach. The Hotelito has comfort, charm and culture. My 18 year old daughter and I had the trip of a lifetime. Jenny is a famous London designer for a reason.

We are in love with this hotel. It is such a special place, so relaxing , comfortable and clean. The staff and the owner (Jenny) are so friendly and warm and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast is perfect, beds cozy and rooms are private. There is a beach to watch the sunset right up the road. We walked into Todos Santos , it’s a little bit of a hike but we didn’t mind. I do not have one single complaint other than three nights was not enough time. If you are looking for a quiet and tranquil stay this is your spot. Also, we ate at Landi’s based on the recommendation of the hotel and it was so delicious.

The Hotelito is just the sort of paradise you dream of: intimate, private, carefully curated and ideally situated. Head down the road one way and you come to a dramatic beach with the most picturesque sunset views; a short walk the other way leads to a sweet corner of Todos Santos, where you can find the perfect cafe, yoga studio, ice cream shop and fish restaurant (Pacifica). IF you choose to leave the idyllic grounds of the hotel, that is. Read in your hammock as you sip a refreshing aloe vera juice, lounge by the pool or sink into your unbelievably comfortable bed (divine mattress, crisp sheets, plentiful pillows) in the cool confines of your spacious casita. Service is thoughtful and never obtrusive, breakfasts are healthy and delicious, prepared by the delightful staff. All this reflects the style, charm and relaxed glamour of owner Jenny Armit, who has created a refuge worth visiting year after year.

The Hotelito is the perfect location for a pleasant, relaxing getaway in Todos Santos!

The location of the hotel is fantastic; not too close or too far from the town’s hub (resulting in serenely still evenings, yet the ability to walk into town), a beautiful beach just a short walk down the road (perfect for sunset picnics, or baby sea-turtle releasing), lots of lush plant life surrounding the area, and amazing views of the town and the ocean.

The hotel itself is gorgeous, with the unique architecture brimming with calming pastel colours and great interior design. There’s a refreshing pool, perfect for cooling off after snoozing in a nearby hammock. The staff and owner onsite are welcoming and generous people, devoted to ensuring you have a wonderful time. Thanks again for everything! We highly recommend The Hotelito :)
