Bienvenido a Cuba! This is an exciting and vibrant time in history to explore Cuba and this B&B is at the epicenter of the culture on the most beautiful plaza in town. We like the simple but colorful way this 18th century palace has been transformed with a unique fusion of old world colonial and vintage style.
Located directly on the Plaza Vieja in old town Havana, this former 18th century nobleman’s palace overlooks the most historic and animated heart of the city. Located on the upper floors, there is a selection of two apartments and one en suite bedroom to choose from. Each is restored with the original characteristics of the palace intact, with graceful arches, columns and juliet balconies reminding you of it’s elegant history. Awash in light with dramatic cobalt blue accents and colorful tile, the interiors are simple and inviting with cool vintage decor and antiques and comfortable furnishings.
The apartments feature compact well equipped kitchens for self catering and can sleep up to four and the ensuite bedroom accommodates two.
Breakfast is served daily at the cafe downstairs that was inspired by the famous literary and artistic figures of the 20th century that gravitated to Cuba.
Quickly emerging from an extended period of isolation, the vibrant culture, charm and history of Havana is alive and well here and makes a fascinating destination.
Owners are available for touring tips, reservations and transportation recommendations. Equipped with all the basic essentials with breakfast served daily. No internet.
Situated in the Plaza Vieja, the most historic plaza of Old Havana (a UNESCO World Heritage site), the apartments are perfectly placed to enjoy this amazing town. You are within walking distance of the famous Obispo and Mercaderes Streets as well as the main port and seawall avenue, Malecon Street. It is also adjacent to the Capitol and the entire downtown district with shops, restaurants, markets and plazas.
