It's surrounded in decks with delightful, oversized cacti and an additional promontory that's perfect for sitting and breathing in the view.
Inside, the house is light and bright, with vintage furnishings and bold global art collected by its owners on their travels from Tuscany to Morocco and South Africa. But the real focus is the landscape, captured through large picture windows in both the living area and the bedroom. Located in one of the most beautiful nature reserves on the island, this is a haven of tranquility and inspiration, perfect for two.
This villa for rent in the Canary Islands is designed for a couple to hide away in. Located close to Puntagorda, but far enough away to feel very private, it's surrounded in large grounds with a heated infinity pool and elegant terraces.
Inside, there's an open-plan living area with a woodburning stove and a kitchen corner, a generously sized double bedroom with a large sea-view window and direct access to the terrace, plus a bright Moroccan-tiled bathroom.
Due to its location, this house is not suitable for children.

This villa for rent in the Canary Islands is located near Puntagorda, a village in the northwest of La Palma, a heart-shaped island filled with secluded beaches, volcanoes and dense forests. Situated between the ravines of Garome and Izcagua, Puntagorda is surrounded in pine and almond trees and famous for its almond blooms in January and February. Come in February for the Almendro en Flor festival, which features music, dancing, and free almond and palm wines, or in August for the Patron festivities in honor of San Mauro Abad.
Make the most of beautiful nearby outdoor spaces at the Barranco de Izcagua and the El Fayal Wood. At weekends, the village hosts a popular market, the Mercadillo, with local produce, wine and cheese, as well as artisan products.
La Palma is famous for its clear night skies with minimal light pollution, so expect to see skies full of stars. Take it one step further at the observatory of the Roque de Los Muchacho, one the largest in the world, which is open to visitors with advance reservations.
