RENTAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Guests are expected to care for the property as if it were their own. Guests agree to notify manager of any accidental damage so proper documentation and claim forms can be filed. Any damage costs beyond the policy limit are the guests’ responsibility. 2. PETS are permitted ONLY with prior approval and the pet policy has been accepted. Please indicate by selecting PET on your inquiry. If you decide later that you’d like to bring your pet, you agree to notify Chris so that your reservation can be updated. There is a $150 pet fee/per stay. 3. Check in: 4:00pm* (*For an earlier check-in time, please inquire.) Check out: 11:00am* (*For a later check-out time, please inquire.) 4. This is a NON-SMOKING property. Due to dry conditions in the Sierra Nevada foothills, fires can be easily sparked. In 2017, Three Rivers had a major fire sparked by a discarded cigarette. 5. Sequoia Falls is in a quiet residential neighborhood, and to be good neighbors, we DO NOT rent the house for loud parties or social gatherings. We ask that you treat our neighbors with respect by not trespassing, making excessive noise or playing loud music. Please enjoy our property, but we kindly ask that you not go upriver or downriver from our property. 6. SAFETY: We want you to enjoy the amazing setting, but please exercise caution near the river, walkways, steps and trails. Children and pets are not permitted near the river unsupervised. 7. FOOTWEAR: We suggest wearing protective foot covering while on the property and water shoes when entering the river. Be careful when stepping on rocks as moss makes them slippery. 8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. However, light housekeeping service is available at an additional charge. (A cleaning supply closet is located in the entry foyer.) 9. Cancellation Policy: FIRM Guest will receive a full refund if booking is cancelled at least 60 days before the time of check-in. (Various policies viewable at www.insuremytrip.com https://www.csatravelprotection.com/ RIVER WARNING and DISCLAIMER This establishment borders the Kaweah River, which in peak months (approximately May- July), can be an extremely fast moving and potentially dangerous river. You and all members of your party enter the river, riverbanks and adjacent areas at your sole risk and peril. No lifeguards or trained rescue personnel are on duty. You take full responsibility for the supervision of children, guests and pets at all times. By entering these premises you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sequoia Falls and the owners with respect to any and all claims, actions, suits, proceedings, costs, expenses, damages, liabilities, including attorney’s fees, arising out of, or connected with your use of these premises and any injury or death resulting to you or any member of your party. I have read and understand the warning and disclaimer, and agree to use the premise at my sole risk. PET POLICY All guests bringing their pets agree to comply by the following: 1. Guests to pay a $150 pet fee/per stay. 2. All pets must be supervised while outside, especially near the river. In late May, June and early July, the river can be swift. Owners don’t allow their dog near without a harness. 3. During summer months, it is possible to encounter rattlesnakes in the Sierra Nevada foothills. You may consider having your pet vaccinated with the Red Rock vaccine. The owners vaccinate their dogs with the vaccine every 6 months. Please consult your vet. 4. All pets should be treated with a topical flea/ tick repellent prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks can be rampant in this area and cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. 5. Guests are responsible for cleaning up all pet refuse. (Supplies have been provided.) 6.. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds at any time. In the garage/laundry room (opposite front door), a DOG SUPPLY CLOSET has been provided with blankets, towels and sheets to be used for further protection, along with beds, bowls, toys, and treats. 7. If your pet loves the water, kindly ensure that they have been cleaned thoroughly before allowing them to enter the home. Please no wet or dirty dogs in the house. 8. Pets will not be left unattended for an undue length of time, either indoors or out. If a pet is left unattended, a crate is recommended to prevent unnecessary damage to property. The Guest shall be solely responsible for the pet while on and off the property.
