We love the privacy and elegance of this stunning Edwardian mansion. The lush Spanish gardens and working farm and are a lovely contrast to the period architecture. The neighboring national parkland with nesting storks and migrating wildlife were a happy surprise!
A departure from the local Andalusian tourist spots, this colonial house was named for a beautiful stone tower that resides on the property. Elegant and graceful, this working cattle and cork farm was built by the British during empire expansion in the early 1900s. The Baroque exteriors and the original interior features are a reminder of a short peaceful period before the world wars when refined and sophisticated living was a way of life for a lucky few with a combination of English refinement and Spanish climate.
The magnificent, sweeping mahogany staircase leads up from the panelled drawing room with its large mahogany fireplace and an elegant dining room to the upstairs bedrooms. Each of the three en-suite double bedrooms are high-ceilinged and have period bathrooms one featuring a large private balcony. With multiple fireplaces, there are many cosy areas to relax and enjoy.
There are three terraces, two at the front of the house perfect for the late evening sun and a large terrace overlooking extensive gardens with lawns and mature trees.
