Located in the heart of the green peninsula of Istria, adjacent to a small village of just 30 inhabitants, this lovely country villa is situated in an idyllic and gentle landscape of oak forest, vineyards, olive groves and lavender fields.
Family owned and built by generations past, the land continues to produce proprietary all-natural olive oils, herbs and wine. Large and gracefully positioned amongst the trees, the traditional historic structure is awash in color with a warm antique patina. Constructed of Venetian limestone columns and decorative architectural features, the house has classic old-world character and charm.
Rustic and homey, the interiors include interesting pops of vintage modern accents and decor along with a collection of tasteful antiques. The living area sits adjacent to the fully equipped eat-in country kitchen and features a unique limestone pedestal fireplace that is the warm central heart of the house.
Upstairs are four bedrooms and two baths that sleep up to six guests, with a separate sitting room. Expansive terraces surround the house overlooking the gardens and are the place to enjoy nature and dine al fresco.

Located in the small village of Deklevi just a mile from the village of Visnjan, the region is one of the richest in olive oil and wine production.
Much of the region includes prehistoric and medieval settlements, with the notable hilltop town of Motovun a short drive away. You are within a few minutes to the Adriatic coast where you can reach any city in Istria in under an hour including: Porec, Rovinj, Novigrad, Pula, and Groznjan.
