AV62 Architects Reframe A 19th-Century Bilbao Apartment
Set in the heart of Las Siete Calles, a pedestrian area surrounded by cafes and restaurants in the old town, this vacation home rental in Bilbao is a fresh and welcoming urban roost.
Located on the first floor of a 19th-century building, directly opposite the cathedral, the views from each of the rooms are impressive.
Recently renovated by Barcelona-based architecture firm AV62, the framework and bones of the early 19th-century building are still intact with the rugged exposed beams integrated into the layout.
The all-in-one living and dining area are open and bright with a compact but fully equipped kitchen on one end. The double en suite bedroom can accommodate two with additional sleeping space on the large sofa bed for two more.
Decorated and furnished with simple contemporary style, it's a comfortable and charming apartment in an exceptional location.
