Enjoy the Harborlife

Nothing says vacation like coastal living and this week we went fishing for places and properties that would give us that nautical feel…

Whether your sailing into port, steaming out to sea or strolling along the docks, the waterfront has a bustling energy and sense of adventure for sailors and landlubbers alike. From early morning fisherman setting out for a fresh catch, to the dazzling line up of yachts and sailing vessels that line the sea front, the harbor is a port of call that spikes our taste for fun and adventure.
Life along the shore has a little something for everyone and we have an equal fondness for the salty character of a rickety fishing pier as much as the gleaming hub of yachts and boats designed for the high seas. It’s the best place to catch the ebb and flow of a variety of both marine and human life where you can savor carefree sun drenched summers and marvel at the dramatic coastal beauty of winter.
We like a lazy stroll along the water to watch the birds circling over head and the playful seals hanging out followed by a dip to cool off and a stop for sunset cocktails before grabbing the catch of the day.
So cast a line, ramble along the docks or cruise out to sea, because harbor life allows you to drift with the tide!

And for a memorable stay, we’ve discovered some unique and picturesque places to make you long for the the nautical life. From a cabin floating over the sea and a charming former fisherman’s lodge, to a cool vintage houseboat, you’ll have a your pick, each with spectacular views of the sea.
