Hidden on a quiet street close to the famous Quadrado in Trancoso, Brazil and just a 15 minute walk from the beach at Praia dos Nativos is Casa Lola, a luxury 3-bedroom home made up of 2 houses: a main house and a cottage, each boasting a mixture of modern details and traditional elements.
The main house is a newly-built, 2-story home that uses lots of glass, wood and white washing to create a contemporary Bohemian feel mixed with typically Bahian elements. The cottage is part of the original house that’s been renovated for a rustic feel. Creature comforts such as fireplace, AC, Cable, Wi-Fi, and daily housekeeping are available. Though Casa Lola has a fully equipped kitchen, cooking services are also available by request.
Both the main house and cottage boast large traditional Porta Baia doors opening up to the deck area organized around a 6mx3m Indonesian tiled pool – perfect for the Brazillian sun-tan!

Casa Lola is a gem within the gem of Trancoso. The house makes you feel right at home. Everything is super comfortable and designed to make your vacation inconspicuously enjoyable. The location, just of the Quadrado, enabled us to enjoy the village to the fullest. Within a week we were greeted like locals. That’s vacation!.
Absolutely two thumbs up.

We spent 2 AMAZING weeks at Casa Lola and cherish all our wonderful memories. Early every morning we strolled through the Quadrado to the beach for long walks along secluded beaches.
Casa Lola is tucked away right off the Quadrado on a charming quiet very sweet road. Once inside you are surrounded by pure comfort and tranquility – we never wanted to leave. Midnight swims, delicious meals, super comfy beds, what more could you want!
All the wonderful shops, restaurants and activities are right there, literally around the corner to explore at your leisure. I highly recommend a stay there and can’t wait until we can return.
