“Stunning house in beautiful location”
We stayed at Casa Cairucu for three nights and it wasn’t nearly long enough! A 15 minute boat ride from the beautiful town of Paraty, this house is a real gem. Breathtaking location with the most stunning views from the balcony and every (beautifully furnished) room, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Brazil.

“The Wonderful Casa Cairucu”
We were thrilled with our stay at Casa Cairucu. We were all enchanted with the house and thought the setting was out of this world. As I said in my note in the visitors book; no photo can do the house justice. It needs to be seen to be believed. We had brilliant weather and Adriana was great as was Pablo (the boatman) who took us all out for the day on our second day. We really hope to be back some day soon on another of our visits to Brazil. Until then we will live with lots of happy memories of our magical stay at the house.

“Perfect place for relaxation and natural beauty”
We spent a wonderful few days at Casa Cairucu. The surroundings are absolutely stunning — blue blue seas and jungle. The house feels very remote but is comfortable, clean and beautifully bright and airy. I loved the bedrooms and bathrooms in particular, as well as the extensive balcony that surrounds the house and is the perfect spot for reading or watching the world go by.

“We have traveled extensively and it is our belief that Casa Cairucu is situated in the most pristine, secluded and gorgeous location in the world.”
We rarely wore shoes and spent the majority of our time kayaking (the kayaks come with the rental) to secluded beaches and islands and hailing down fishing boats to purchase shrimp. The home is beautiful and has all the amenities plus more. The only downfall is that we are not here for two weeks, six months or a year. Next time.”

“The house sits on a wooded headland overlooking a teal-colored bay and is accessible only by boat… It’s a five-minute walk to the closest beach, but we could—and did—swim in the warm, crystalline waters of the bay from our private dock. The three main bedrooms overlook the bay and, though sparsely furnished, have fine linens, well-stocked book-shelves, and showroom-worthy en suite bathrooms. As for my staff? A local woman made breakfast and tidied up the house. For an extra $15 a day she prepared simple, delicious dinners… the Wi-Fi never quite worked, but we didn’t miss it much, busy as we were catnapping in hammocks or whipping up caipirinhas in the impressively equipped kitchen. For three lazy days we rarely saw another soul…”
