A real treat for visitors to Kyoto, Nishijin Isa-cho is located in the historic textile district. The 2-story home is attached to a textile studio, so guests can both hear and see the ancient craft of Japanese loom weaving as it is practiced today.

The first floor has an entrance area, tatami room, wood-floored room, and bathroom with cedar bathtub. The second floor contains a tatami room and wood-floored living area, and shower area. 

A unique feature of Nishijin Isa-cho is an open ceiling and window that allows guests to look into the attached studio and watch the weavers at work.
