The Mackey Apartments (R.M. Schindler, 1939) are located on South Cochran Avenue in Los Angeles, near the intersection of La Brea and Olympic Boulevard.

The penthouse is the largest apartment in the building, with two floors, a cantilevered dining mezzanine on the second floor, a fully equipped kitchen, a furnished bedroom with a full-size bed, a study, wireless internet, and marvelously framed views of the city. There is also a phone available for local calls and an alarm system. A laundry room is available in the building for your use and street parking is plentiful in the neighborhood.

The four other apartments are occupied by participants in our Residency program, where international artists and architects are awarded the chance to come to Los Angeles, live at the Mackey Apartments, and work on projects that engage the city.

The penthouse is available at a rate of $220 per night for a minimum of two nights. There is a mandatory $120 housekeeping fee, and the option to have regular housekeeping during your stay for $60 an instance. A contract that explains the usage and regulations of this historic building must be signed before occupancy. All rentals require a 48 hour prior notice.
