In search of the perfect wave? Start at Find the Waves, a peaceful compound made up of 2 houses set on 2 acres of botanical gardens on the North Shore of Oahu. Comprised of a ranch house and A-Frame cottage, located only 5 minutes from the beach and world class surfing spots, Find the Waves is the perfect Hawaiian getaway for couples or close friends traveling in the islands.
The Big House is a recently remodeled, 3-bedroom/2-bath modern ranch house that sleeps up to 5. Larger parties can also rent the A-Frame Cottage on the property for additional sleeping space.
The A-Frame Cottage is a 1,030 square foot home that has been totally renovated and furnished with an inspiring mix of vintage and modern amenities.
Guests at Find the Waves feel as though they are living in their own private slice of paradise. The front porch of the cottage looks out over a banana garden, while the house itself is surrounded by Sunrise Papaya, Avocado, Kukui Nut, Pomelo, and Banyan Trees, as well as well as flowering plants such as ginger, hibiscus, and plumeria. The property has a gazebo for outdoor dining and relaxing during warm nights.
Amenities at Find the Waves include fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, outdoor gas grill and charcoal grill, and cable/satellite television, in addition to wi-fi and free long distance phone calls.

Just a few days before our trip to Hawaii our 2 year old got very sick with scarlet fever – we had to cancel our travel plans –
Durning one of the most popular times of the year we canceled our booking – Todd Allen was so kind he sent us a lovely note and wished our son Navy a speedy recovery – along with a full refund of our deposit – this made me smile – there are still really great chill people in this world –
We will find our way to this amazing property one day .. and Todd we think you are really cool -

“Quiet Paradise”
We arrived on the Oahu’s North Shore after a week on Maui and the Big Island, wanting an escape for a few days from the hustle and bustle of the action but yet be within minutes of the beaches & the amenities. The cottage was perfect, everything you needed: a kitchen, barbeque, TV, internet, washer & dryer, a very comfy bed, We loved listening to the sounds of nature, the gentle evening breeze & the clean fresh air. It was so peaceful.
Everything was within a few minutes, Foodland at the bottom of the hill, great beaches, Haleiwa ( check out their Sunday Farmer Market, wonderful crepes, fresh fruit, veggies and fish). It was the perfect spot to explore the North Shore from.

Todd’s house was the perfect getaway for us during our recent trip to the North Shore! The bungalow was the perfect size for us and offered wonderful breezes, sunlight, and amenities. This was no surprise, though, as Todd was an absolute pleasure to work with on our reservation as well. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for everything.

Todd has created a one of a kind Hawaiian retreat.The location is the best, outside shower a gem. Todd, a most special and accommodating owner. You will be spoiled.

My Review
was lucky enough to live here for 3 1/2 months and i was very very sad to leave. the property is lovely & peaceful and surrounded by fruit trees. just up the road from waimea bay and all the conveniences of town but tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. my favorite part of the house was the bedroom…so cozy & quiet. the landlord is great and will provide you with whatever you need. the house is pretty stocked so you won’t be asking for much, but it is nice to know that it is constantly maintained. great place to stay for a week or a month!

Gorgeous quiet house located in a beautiful rain forest! My family and I stayed there this past Christmas as we wanted somewhere on the North Shore close to the beach…this place is in a great location and accommodated our 4 member family perfectly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
