WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT THIS PROPERTY
The elemental quality and clean stark architectural lines of these two structures compliment the windswept landscape perfectly. Dramatic day or night, the bright interiors and modern silhouettes create a harmonious relationship between environment and great design.
Designed, conceived and built mostly by hand by Danish architect Soren Sarup, this striking compound interacts with the surrounding landscape and integrates the natural and contemporary qualities of simple living. Situated less than a mile from the North Sea around the fjord, lakes and dunes, you can feel a special Nordic bond with nature. The use of light and and space both aesthetically and functionally, along with the architectural purity, creates a symbiotic installation that is both dramatic and welcoming.
The warm wood surfaces against the clean white and sharp edges, combined with a balance of vintage and modern Danish furnishings, creates a calm and relaxed atmosphere on the edge between indoor and outdoor life. The fully equipped kitchen in the main house services both living spaces with indoor or outdoor dining (depending on weather).
Organized around a large wooden terrace that unites the two structures, the main building and annex can accommodate up to eight guests total. The annex houses four double bedrooms and one bath while the main house features one bedroom and bath and a fireside living area. Each has access to the expansive terrace for places to dine, lounge and enjoy the scenery.
Wifi throughout, TV/DVD, stereo audio system, housekeeping and laundry facilities, complimentary firewood. On site parking.
Adjacent to the Thy National Park along the the wild western Danish coast, the town of Aager is a charming resort village surrounded by the Limfjord and the North Sea. The area has many seasonal outdoor activities to enjoy including world class surfing (it’s called “Cold Hawaii” for a reason!), hiking, cycling, water sports, and fishing.
