My wife and I had a wonderful stay in Paris, with Nadia’s lovely apartment as our home base. The flat is in a perfect area, with excellent restaurants, bakeries, markets, and shops nearby. The front room is spacious and charming with corner views. The bedroom is bright and comfortable with large windows and the bed is nice and firm, which was welcomed after a long day of walking. The kitchen is small but cozy and a nice place to have breakfast or a take home meal. The bathroom is also small but the shower is soothing with good pressure and hot water. WiFi was a little temperamental but was fine. There is no TV, but who goes to Paris for television? Nadia herself was extremely gracious and helpful and right next door if anything was needed. It is a very homey apartment with great artwork and family photos in a great part of Paris, and just right for a romantic trip with your sweetheart.

Nadia’s place is fantastic, right in the heart of the Marais (the best neighborhood in Paris). The 4th floor walk-up was refreshing. There is a Velib station (the Paris public bike system) across the street from the place and fantastic shopping and eating all around. The place is clean, spacious and the art on the walls is great. The windows have a great view and you get a nice breeze when they are open. In case you forget to grab a beer or snack the fridge is stocked with some basics. Nadia is nearby (next door actually) so if you need anything she’s right there for you. Nadia herself is as nice as can be and was warm and welcoming after a long flight. We will definitely stay here again. Don’t miss Merci (shopping) and Candelaria (drinking) when you are in the Marais.
