We stayed in the Moulin Rouge apartment almost a full week. We are a family of four, with two teenagers. The apartment provided a great home base for our Parisian explorations. The two rooms had one double bed each for me and my son, and wife and daughter, respectively. The owner had provided a bottle of wine and an espresso machine, which was a very nice touch. Nice kitchen and bathroom with good shower as well as washing machine. The elevator was extremely small but not a problem for us (3rd floor). The apartment is located on the same street as the cafe that was featured in the movie “Amelie from Montmartre” which we also liked; that cafe is actually quite decent (Deux Moulin). From the apartment it was a 15 minute walk up to Sacre Coeur and the Butte of Montmartre. Very nice. The “Blanche” Metro stop is also just 5 minutes from the apartment, from which all of Paris can be quickly reached. The security deposit was quickly refunded after our departure.

We had booked the Moulin Rouge apartment for the Christmas holidays and it was perfect! The location in Montmartre is very convenient and there are plenty of nice places to eat it the neighborhood. We arrived on Christmas eve and walked up to the Sacre Coeur which is really close. We caught part of the Christmas mass which was very special.
We would definitely recommend this apartment for a couple of family with children.
The apartment was spacious for Parisian standards, it was clean and well equipped. We stayed with our daughter who slept on the pull out sofa which was quite comfortable. We did have to wait for the gentleman to let us into the apartment which took a little longer than we had hoped. But the gentleman was very nice and gave us a lot of good suggestions about the area. He even brought some basic food supplies for the next morning and a bottle of wine

A very nice place to stay on Montmartre. Almost no streetnoise, yet central. Clean and well kept.

“Great location and a very nice flat!”
The apartment was lovely. Well decorated, very clean and in a great location. It is right off a very busy street with lots of shops and conveniences and only 1 long city block to the amazing Paris Metro which has to be the best subway system in the world. It was easy to get around the city and then at the end of the day we had a comfortable, cozy spot to kick up our feet. Were were traveling with an infant and the apartment was well-suited for that as well.

“A True Parisian Experience”
This was not my first visit to Paris. In fact, I have stayed at everything from The Plaza Athenee to sweet little mom and pop hotels on Rue de Bac and everything in between. My Stay at the Moulin Rouge property made the trip as magical as if I had never visited the city before. Living in a real neighborhood put me in touch with local cafes and shops that Parisians visit on a daily basis. The cobbled streets led me from one fabled spot to another. The apartment was spotless and I loved that as well. I would recommend this space to anyone who wants to soak in the Parisian culture on a more intimate basis. The Holidays France Rentals team met all of my expectations for great concierge type service. Getting tickets or a car were as easy as making a phone call.
