The house is a traditional machiya built in the classical fashion by leading local craftsman of the time. Minoya-cho boasts elegant details, large rooms, and incredible views of the Kamo River from the first and second floors.

The home is exceptionally spacious and has full sliding glass doors that run the entire width of the first and second floors, providing a panoramic view of the Kamo-river.(one of the famous river in Japan) There are 3 Tatami rooms with futon-style bedding, a fully equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms with a cedar tub (1st floor) and shower room (2nd floor).
