This sleek one-bedroom house in Venice Beach is brand new and 100% sustainable, with solar electric power, radiant floor heating and hot water, and a reverse osmosis water filtration system. Only eight blocks from the beach, it also boasts its own private outdoor patio with fireplace, and desert-style garden.

After many island holidays, we visited Honolulu in search of a more culturally vibrant experience to complement the soft breezes, balmy waters and glorious sunsets we’d come to love. That’s when we found our home-away-from-home, in a stunning tranquil setting overlooking the cosmopolitan city of Honolulu, with city, sky and sea stretching into the distance. In the ensuing two years we rebuilt a run-down 50′s house into a dramatic architectural gem worthy of its outlook.  Today, the home and its setting are a unique retreat for our enjoyment and yours.

Welcome to Niko’s Nido, our post and beam cabin in Big Bear California, named after our daughter Niko. The only mid-century modern on the mountain, it ain’t your grandma’s cabin! It’s a 2200 sq. foot cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Both bathrooms have recently been redone in marble with a two-person rain shower upstairs and a soaking tub downstairs.

There is a great living room with a huge fireplace, flatscreen, BluRay DVD, stereo and wireless internet. A dining room set for 6 and a kitchen with all the gear. There is also a utility room with a washer and dryer. Along with parking for 4 cars. It is centrally located in Moonridge just 1 mile from Bear Mountain. It’s  a mile and a half to Snow Summit and about the same to the lake. With year around activities this is a perfect getaway any time you need it.

The V House will provide an exceptional experience living above the jungle, with amazing views of the ocean and the Yelapa Bay. While the V House is on the Verana property, it can be rented as a separate unit . 3 bathrooms and 3 individual “outlook” rooms.

The bullet-shaped Silver Streak is a cult classic, and we’ve always wanted to stay in one. That’s why we gave this 30 ft aluminium trailer a contemporary makeover and placed it in a great location. Today you’ll find it on Old Yosemite Road, just outside the National Park… but who knows where it will be tomorrow?
