Kaweah Falls, Three Rivers, California
As seen in Sunset Magazine, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times!
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright student, Frank Robert, Kaweah Falls is a modern rustic retreat home tucked away at the base of the Sequoia National Park in the cozy Sierra Nevada mountain town of Three Rivers, CA—an easy 3.5 hrs. from Los Angeles, 4.5 hrs from San Francisco, and 1+ hr from Fresno Yosemite International airport.
A finalist in Dwell magazine’s 2010 ‘Houses We Love’ competition, the home bridges a regulated water flume leading to a private sandy beach and a year-round active waterfall. From the bar watch rainbow trout swimming below through a glass-bottomed floor.
Kaweah Falls has 4 private bedrooms, each with it’s own en suite bathroom—and river views from every room! Further amenities include 2 kitchens, WIFI, premium Cable TV, computer for guest use and free and unlimited long distance phone calls within the U.S.
This one of-a-kind vacation home makes the ultimate escape from the city, the ideal writer’s retreat (finish that novel or screenplay), a luxury base camp for exploring the Sequoia National Park; or simply a place to recharge, far away from the hustle and bustle.
Three Rivers is a nature lovers paradise with plenty of opportunities to hike, bike, fish, and swim; and during the summer months, world-class white-water rafting and kayaking. Lake Kaweah, surrounded by the golden hills of California’s lower Sierra Nevada mountains, is just 5 miles downstream and a hot spot for boating and fishing.
