“Coco Cabana is a must in Yelapa!”
We stayed at Casa Coco in mid-November and had just the most amazing time. The views are truly spectacular from the house and the decor inside was tasteful and comfortable. The owners really thought well through every detail. This vacation home had more kitchen gadgets than you can dream of. We did not mind the hike back up to the house everyday because we thought it was that it was much needed due the amount of beer and delicious food we were consuming daily. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

This was our second visit to Yelapa, and our first to Casa Cabana. What a treat! My husband and I highly recommend this casa. We were expecting a palapa, but it was so much more. While the pictures on this website are beautiful, they do not do the place justice. The casa was just beautiful, both inside and out. We were pleasantly surprised at the well-equipped kitchen. Even the bed was comfortable. The mornings on the patio were delightful. We did get to see a whale and her calf, as well as a flock of parrots. We only saw one iguana on the roof of Casa Coco, but did see several of the bushy tailed raccoons and many different birds. The landscaping was fabulous and we enjoyed the special lighting touches through the inside and outside of the house. Though I must say, we were never up late. The caretakers were a big help getting us settled. The casa is remotely located, though not isolated, and it does take some strong walking legs. I would definitely recommend some good trek-type sandals. Also, this is definitely not a location for children. The locals wear flip flops, but we were not that sure-footed.
